About
Lab for Integrated Quantitative Modelling
Lab4IQM is made by Armando Rodado, a mathematician working on geometry, mathematical oncology and biostatistics. It started from a simple need: to compute a model and see it in the same place, and to give students the same tools that research uses.
The compute core is plain Python and NumPy, so every result can be tested without Blender, and it is. Blender supplies the 3D view, rendering and a large, free, cross-platform user base.
Licence
Lab4IQM Studio and all modules are free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. You may use them in teaching and research, change them and share them.
Textbooks
The calculus modules follow the chapter and section structure of the free OpenStax Calculus volumes, so students can use them beside the book. The guides refer to the books by chapter and section; they reproduce none of their text or exercises, and the practice problems are generated by the modules themselves. Lab4IQM is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenStax.
